Red First Contact Polymer

First Contact optical surface cleaning and protection agent developed and produced by Photonic Cleaning Technology Company in the United States forms a thin film tightly covering the surface after being brushed or sprayed on the surface, which can prevent scratches, wear and damage from external particles and water. Therefore, it is called a magical product that can both clean and protect. At present, this product is widely used in observatories, telescopes, precision optical mirrors, curved surfaces, extra-large mirrors and other fields, and can effectively help customers solve problems in product cleaning and transportation. More and more domestic customers use this product, which solves many difficult and easy cleaning problems for customers and is well received by customers.

First Contact spraying or brushing on the surface of the product to be cleaned can prevent erosion by water vapor, oxygen or sulfur. The adhesion of this film to the surface is only 1/20 of that of transparent tape, and this film can be removed with paper tape. When this film is removed, dust, fingerprints and other pollutants on the surface can be taken away, thereby playing a cleaning role. And First Contact itself will not remain on the surface and will not cause any damage to the optical surface. The dual functions of cleaning and protection can definitely save you a lot of troubles!

  • Application

    a. Precision optical lenses --- can be used to clean glass and coated optical lenses without damage or residue on the optical lenses

    b. Rough surfaces. Such as: gratings, frosted glass.

    c. Crystals, minerals --- can be used to clean crystals, minerals and other items that are insoluble in polar organic solvents. First Contact has been successfully used to clean laser rods and expensive gemstones.

    d. CCD target surface

    e. Metal surfaces --- can be used to clean various metal surfaces

First Contact can be used to clean any surface that is insoluble in polar organic solvents such as acetone or ethanol. These include various types of glass, metal, silicon oxide, silicon, germanium, KRS-5, NaCl, KBr and all polar inorganic crystals. It can also be used to clean frosted glass, beam splitters, and even many anodized surfaces. It can even be used to clean anti-reflection and reflective coatings and certain plastics such as nylon and polyester that are insoluble in polar organic solvents.

  • Liquid Ingredients

First Contact fluid itself is a flammable liquid containing alcohols and ketones, including acetone and ethanol.

  • Chemical properties

First Contact liquid itself is volatile. However, after the liquid is applied to the optical surface, it will completely dry to form a protective film. This polymer dry film is an inert substance with stable chemical properties and can be thrown into ordinary trash cans.

  • Dosage

    Usage:

    Spray: for large surfaces

    Brush: for small surfaces

    Dosage:

When applied to smooth surfaces such as mirrors, 1 ml of First Contact solution will cover an area of approximately 10 square centimeters. This amount will produce a thick and strong film that can be easily removed from the surface without tearing. When applied to large areas, the amount needs to be increased to increase the thickness of the film. The thicker the film, the longer it will take to dry.
